Written by The summer social was a Book Club, held on Thursday, June 28, at The Millhouse – Statesboro, from 6-8 p.m.
During the Book Club event, we discussed Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead by Sheryl Sandberg. Everyone was invited regardless of whether they read the book or not. At the conclusion of the Book Club, it was suggested by a member that we do this more regularly. Comments about the event – “We got to talk more and learn more about each other during this event than we normally get to.”; “I think we should do this more often.”; “What’s the next book?”
